‘Developing this oatmeal with Kodiak was such a fun experience,’ expresses Zac Efron about the oatmeal he is so proud to have created in collaboration with the Kodiak Cakes brand.
After previewing a small teaser at the end of the year, the ‘A Family Affair’ star has just officially launched his new apple, brown sugar and pecan oatmeal, which ‘not only tastes good, but also makes you feel good,’ he says. That is, it contains less sugar and more nutritious ingredients. ‘I think we’ve done it, and I can’t wait for people to try it,’ adds the actor.
To introduce Kodiak Apple Brown Sugar Pecan Oatmeal, the duo came up with a rural campaign starring Zac in lumberjack overalls and rubber boots. In all these nature sequences, he appears posing with a dog in the Kodiak fields and in front of a van full of the health food brand’s other products.
The oat flakes are made with 100% whole grains, and contain 14 grams of protein and prebiotic fiber due to their blend of chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and blueberries, which are said to be Efron’s favorites. This limited edition product, which went on sale January 1, is sold exclusively at Walmart.
