The new collaboration between cult New York designer Willy Chavarria and the tequila house is embodied in an exclusive bottle defined by their shared reverence for Mexico and its effervescent culture.
The creative will take the stage on the NYFW runway with this new high-end tequila in an elegant black ecru with crystal reliefs of images inspired by the Day of the Dead. An identity that Willy Chavarria reflects on both the inside and outside of BOTELLA EDICIÓN ARTISTA TEQUILA DON JULIO 70 AÑEJO CRISTALINO, in which he dilutes the memories of his childhood in California’s San Joaquin Valley, along with his love for art and design.
Aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels, Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino offers the rich complexities of a traditional Añejo through a modern vision that embodies innovation. The first Tequila Añejo Cristalino was the first to use a charcoal filtration process that gives it a pure crystalline tone and brings out the crisp agave flavor typically found in a Blanco.
Chavarria will present this ode to the time-honored tradition and modernism of Mexico at Willy Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in New York. An exclusive capsule collection inspired by Tequila Don Julio will also be unveiled during the show.
