But if you want to try the one that has been awarded as the best cocido madrileño in this year’s Ruta del Cocido Madrileño, then you will have to visit Restaurante Manolo 1934, an emblematic restaurant in Madrid that this year celebrates its 90th anniversary.

This restaurant, located at 83 Princesa Street, specializes in traditional quality cuisine with seasonal products. They serve homemade dishes that combine the best of Madrid and Galician gastronomy. Among them, the cocido madrileño stands out. As they tell from the restaurant itself, each part of their stew tells a story passed down from generation to generation.

One of the keys to its success is the careful selection of each of the ingredients, its meticulous elaboration process and its loyalty to the purest tradition. This traditional Madrid stew is served on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from October to May and is priced at 24 € per person.
