In the brand’s new Holiday 2024 campaign, titled ‘The Dinner Guests‘, Willy Vanderperre captures the guests converging in spaces conceived for celebration and pleasure as timeless values.
Each of these tabletops showcases a Prada universe. The fine porcelain items are sheathed in the house’s distinctive colors, combined with Prada’s emblematic prints. Even the food evokes the brand’s identity: sweets from Marchesi 1824, the historic Milanese patisserie, include cakes topped with bears and highly decorated Panettone, the typical Milanese seasonal cake.
A cross-section of global talent is gathering for the first time around the evening: American actor Kelvin Harrison Jr.; American singer-songwriter and actress Maya Hawke; South Korean singer and leader of the K-pop group aespa KARINA; and British actor Louis Partridge. Prada’s signature ‘Trick’ robots rounded out the table as if to represent the futuristic guests.
Life-size, these normally presented as charms to be carried in handbags or as key rings, add a touch of unpredictability to the festive concept of the dinner, which takes place in a studio on a red background.
