Waking up to waffle flavour will now be possible with this innovation resulting from a Kellogg’s collaboration with Two Rivers Coffee. The result? maple syrup flavoured coffee.
‘Many of us have fond memories of our childhoods eating Eggo waffles, and now there’s a new way to enjoy that nostalgia, with an added caffeine kick, thanks to our Eggo Coffee,’ says Sam Blaney, marketing director of Two Rivers Coffee. ‘We’re sure it will fly off supermarket shelves.’
The company has previously partnered with Cold Stone Creamery, along with other popular brands. Eggo is the latest food brand to offer a coffee variant, following other sweet iterations such as M&M’s and Twix.
The new ‘Eggo Coffee by Kellogg’s’ will be available in five flavours: Eggo Maple Syrup, Eggo Vanilla Coffee, Eggo Cinnamon Toast, Eggo Blueberry and Eggo Chocolate Chip; all of which will hit shops and online retailers in mid-August in Keurig K-Cup format.
