Bill Clinton once again showed his love for the fast food chain by visiting one of the restaurants in Georgia. When he showed up, one of the employees got a big surprise when she thought the US president had decided to enjoy one of his meals. However, he wasn’t exactly the man she thought. ‘Are you Joe?’ the woman then asked Clinton, with great enthusiasm.
In that hilarious encounter at McDonald’s took place on Sunday, October 13 while Clinton was campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris. It took only seconds for the employee to realize that this was not President Biden, but the 42nd President of the United States. The moment she was aware, she quickly flinched and said, ‘Bill? Oh, my goodness. Hello, Bill.
She then ran around the counter to give the former president a big hug. Without letting go of his arm, the woman asked a colleague to take a photo and said: ‘This is Bill’.
Angel Urena, Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, captured the entire behind-the-scenes video, and shared it on the platform, instantly going viral. ‘The boss was campaigning for @KamalaHarris in Georgia and had to stop by the old hangout, @McDonalds,’ he captioned the clip.
Recently, while speaking on Harris’ behalf at the Democratic National Convention in August, Clinton highlighted the vice president’s first job as a fast food worker. ‘I’ll be so glad when she enters the White House as president because she’ll beat my record as the president who has spent the most time at McDonald’s,’ she joked.
