David Beckham is in his farming era, and he wanted to share it with his online followers through a video that offers a behind-the-scenes look at his gardening skills at his country home.
On Saturday, September 7, the soccer legend would publish that post on Instagram in which he likewise shows his farming area, chickens included. The rural tour would end up generating a great impact on the network, and even getting a hilarious response from Victoria at the time when she republished it on her Instagram Stories.
‘Who is this man,’ she wrote alongside stickers of chickens and a Memoji crying with laughter. ‘Give me back my husband!’
In the video David begins by wishing his followers good morning and showing a quick glimpse of his five chickens in a green plaid shirt and cap. He then turns his attention to the garden at the couple’s Cotswolds home, which includes spring onions, wildflowers, plum trees, kale and cabbage.
‘So it’s not bad,’ David says in the video as he proudly strolls through his gardens. ‘And also, we have a lot of potatoes. Today, in fact, I’m going to make some chips because I’m a salty person, not a sweet person.’ Next, David turns the spotlight to the berry patch.
‘My kale is doing well 😆 I can hear my East End mates saying ‘It’s changed’ 😆’,’ David captioned the footage. ‘My wife told me to shorten the video, but obviously I didn’t listen to her, so I’m sorry…. My content used to be motorcycles and camping, now it’s kale, honey and flowers for the house 🤔’.
