VICIO has taken its first international step with the opening of an establishment in Lisbon, which will operate exclusively under the delivery and take away model.
‘Portugal is our closest neighbour and the Portuguese culture is very similar to ours, so it makes perfect sense for our first international step to be in Lisbon. We are convinced that VICIO fits perfectly with the taste of Lisboners and that, as has happened in all the cities we have opened in, our products will be welcomed with open arms. We have come to Lisbon to ‘give the Portuguese theirs’ and nothing would make us more excited than for this opening to be the success we wish it to be and for Lisbon to become the first step in a much wider international expansion’, commented Aleix Puig, co-founder and president of VICIO.
The premises, located at R. do Centro Cultural 39, has a team of 25 professionals who will be in charge of bringing the VICIO culture to the Portuguese community. An idea that they intend to develop and expand in their ambitious expansion plan that in 2024 reached a turnover of 55 million euros. In addition, the company plans to open more than 12 new premises in 2025, with new openings in Spanish cities, reinforcing its presence in Madrid and Barcelona.
