During the event, fans will be able to sample the new ‘Yummy Berry White Chocolate Truffle’ flavor, along with Hello Kitty-inspired desserts and other limited edition products.

‘With this sweet collaboration, we want to make everyone smile and create a special moment for fans across the U.S. to join in the Hello Kitty anniversary fun’, said Craig Takiguchi, chief operating officer of Sanrio, Inc.

The ice cream will only be available on Sunday, July 21 at all Van Leeuwen stores in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington D.C. In addition, the brand will donate 50% of the proceeds from sales to charity.
