Van Leeuwen introduces a new range of artisanal ice creams, but this time not for humans, but for dogs. The famous New York brand collaborated with Ollie, a gourmet dog food brand, to make it happen.

We are thrilled to partner with Ollie to create a very special treat for puppies. It’s the perfect flavour combination – my dog Hachi and the dogs in our office tried it and couldn’t get enough. We hope yours will love it too,’ says Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder and CEO of Van Leeuwen.

But what exactly is the flavour of this limited edition? According to the collaborative duo, it is a combination of what all dogs love: peanut butter and banana’. The ‘Van Leeuwen and Ollie Frozen Dog Treat’ is a non-dairy, sweet and savoury ice cream made from a peanut butter and banana recipe.

The latest puppy food innovation will be available for pets in New York and California at a number of Van Leeuwen locations, but will also be available at most Petco locations and on Petco.com.
