The plot is as follows. Tom Holland decided to go to the supermarket to buy his own premium non-alcoholic beer, and was asked for his ID. It all started when on Tuesday 18 February, the actor decided to share the adventure on Instagram stories, telling his fans about buying a few cans of his brand Bero at the Target supermarket.

‘So I haven’t been in the [United] States for a while,’ Holland explained in a selfie video while walking through a car park. ‘And I’m going to visit some Bero on the shelves, out in the wild.’ Following that sequence, the Spider-Man star, would film the next one of the shop. ‘This is the second Target I’ve been to because the last one I went to didn’t really have it,’ he confessed, sarcastically adding, ‘Not the best marketing.’

When he couldn’t find it, he decided to go to a larger Target, where he ‘felt more hopeful’. Another video follows, in which Holland ends the day’s exploration from the car park, explaining that although he eventually found his Bero, he had a lot of trouble getting it.

‘OK, so success, I’ve found some,’ said the ‘Chaos Walking’ star, showing off a golden Bero packaging. ‘I’ve bought it. Laughing, he continued: ‘They wouldn’t take my ID because it’s English and I couldn’t prove my age, so a really lovely employee, I guess, scanned your ID. ‘A bit ironic that I wasn’t allowed to buy my own product.’
