Every Thursday at Parking Pizza Castellana, around six o’clock in the evening, the ‘Wines and vinyls’ session is activated for which the wine master Alberto Ruffoni has selected six labels of minimal intervention to enjoy with their pizzas and vinyls.

At its industrial-inspired long tables, Parking Pizza once again brings together different personalities united by music and gastronomy, for which it presents a special menu with dishes ideal for sharing and/or some of the local hits in a reduced version perfectly synchronized with the wine list designed by Ruffoni.

An eclectic menu

The menu includes delicious focaccias and breads, portions such as vitello tonato of sirloin and capers or smoked salmon with red onion, dill, lime and pickle mayonnaise or pizzettes full of fresh, essentially Mediterranean products.

The liquid section that pairs with these sessions includes six wines that encapsulate the essence of the terroir with authenticity and freshness, including an Italian wine from Abrruzzo, 100% Trebbiano, and an ancestral sparkling wine with sparkling bubbles: Mecano Rosado 2021, from the Cebrero DO, whose grapes come from the Sierra de Gredos from 60-year-old vines.

The Schlehe Amber Wine 2021, an orange wine made with Grüner Veltliner, is added to the proposal. As reds, the sommelier proposes Les Amandiers, made with Cabernet Franc from the Loire, and the Ser Vivo y Natural 2023, made with Tempranillo from a small family winery, Bodegas Hermanos Paramo Arroyo. As a finishing touch, a South African Chenin Blanc is served with a 93+ Parker rating, a very thoughtful and daring blend that highlights the art of blending. Where? At Paseo de la Castellana, 89.
