The 36.cc bakery gathers behind the screen an infinite community of followers who praise each and every one of its pastries. In his virtual archive, we can find from customised cakes for Halloween, such as the bust of ‘The Nun’, to thousands of iterations inspired by films or animated series.
From Sin Chan or Hello Kitty to Japanese fantasy beings of kawaii aesthetics, among which their sonny angels and monchhichis stand out, in sync with the boom they are experiencing. These new pop culture icons, which have triggered a new material need and/or universal obsession, are now given a sweet 3D version by this café.
His collection includes sonny angels sculpted from his series of animals, flowers, fruit, vegetables and sweets. Also, cakes from the monchhichi line of stuffed monkeys, created in 1974 by the Japanese company Sekiguchi. These, which were born with the aim of inspiring respect and love in children, young people and adults, have now become the new object of desire that everyone wants to possess, and which you can now also consume thanks to 36.cc.
