It seems that in the last few weeks singer Taylor Swift has been dining out practically every night. Whether with her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, or with one of her besties, like Blake Lively, the superstar is making a tour of the best restaurants in New York. Her last gastro visit was with a large part of her mythical squad, including her best friend Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne or her new inseparable Sophie Turner. On this occasion, the group of friends went to one of the most sophisticated Japanese restaurants in the Big Apple, called Bond St Restaurant.
Japanese inspiration and sophistication
Located on Bond Street, this iconic restaurant serves Japanese-inspired cuisine. The restaurant is divided into three levels: on the first floor is the Bond St lounge, which is an intimate and cozy space with its own sushi bar and stools in the middle of niches and intimate corners. Moving up to the main floor we find a main dining room with seating for 75 diners, which has a sushi bar, as well as a bar overlooking the street. Finally, on the second floor there is another elegant dining room, along with a private tatami room that can be privatized. Perhaps it was the celebrities’ choice for their girls’ night out.
As for the menu, of course, it includes a wide variety of nigiris and sashimi, as well as special sushi and a lot of rolls: from salmon to spicy tuna, crab, lobster in tempura or eel, among other options.
It also has ample options of hot and cold starters, such as crispy gyozas, and tempura dishes, crispy rice, salads and soups. Not to mention a menu of delicious cocktails. I’m sure Taylor and his squad were in for a treat.
