The new gastronomic proposal of the luxury hotel ALÀBRIGA Hotel & Home Suites GL, located on the Costa Brava, brings a new level: the return of the haute cuisine of the legendary restaurant L’Esguard, by Miguel Sánchez Romera. The popular chef and prestigious neurologist arrives at the resort to take charge of the culinary proposal in all gastronomic areas of the hotel: both in the haute cuisine restaurant L’Esguard, as in the Sea Club, with a more informal and multicultural menu.
In this new venture, Sánchez Romera will display all his culinary experiences full of flavor, color, science and culture. In the renovated L’Esguard ALÀBRIGA, Miguel will show how his project has evolved with its own identity in which he perfectly blends the past with a constant updating, which makes his gastronomic proposal reach a harmony between nature, flavors and sensations. Undoubtedly, a must for the most demanding palates.
Haute cuisine with the L’Esguard seal
In this restaurant, Sánchez Romera is inspired by living nature for the creation of his dishes, through the three angles on which his cuisine focuses: science, health and art. His main goal is to offer diners a unique sensation of traveling through our land using gastronomic tools.
In this new stage of L’Esguard ALÀBRIGA, the chef will offer his dishes depending on the season, but respecting several old concepts such as oyster tartar, egg with caviar, checkerboard with vegetables or smoked couscous with vegetables.
Among the new proposals, the pigeon of bres with dried mango chutney or marinated salmon with beet broth with seafood and citrus perfume stand out. Two menus will be available: a reduced menu for 150 € and a full menu for 180 €, available from Friday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
A more relaxed proposal at the Sea Club
ALÀBRIGA Sea Club is the most chill-out area of the hotel, with swimming pools, terraces and cocktail bars, mainly focused on nightlife. As for the gastronomic concept that Sánchez Romera will develop here, the chef has taken advantage of each of the terraces of the complex to dedicate it to the different cuisines of the world that have marked his culinary career: from China to Turkey, Lebanon, Argentina, the United States, Germany and, of course, Spain. There will also be a restaurant specializing in sushi and classic Japanese cuisine, where you can taste colorful sushi and dishes with lots of flavor. This part of the hotel will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on weekends.
