With a crunchy exterior and a creamy mango ice cream or sorbet interior, this Chinese ice cream has taken the world by storm, individually packaged in an orange carton and sealed by the slogan ‘full of happiness’ under plastic domes.

The reality is that it has been revealed that mango does not appear in the list of ingredients, but it does taste 100% of the fruit. The ice cream is also available in two other flavours: peach and lemon, presented in the same exclusive format.

Social media users who have tried the mango ice cream claim to have found the fruity dessert mainly in Asian supermarkets. The tiktoker @laurielikesfood managed to find it, after months of searching, in a ‘random’ Asian shop in New York.

🍑I FINALLY found the viral peach and mango ice cream!!!🥭 After months of searching I stumbled upon it at a random Asian grocery shop when trying to buy hoisin sauce 😂 One of those things that’ll find you when you stop searching for it 🤭. Luckily they had both the peach and mango so I got to try both! I liked the peach more than the mango because the peach tasted more peachy than a real peach. I hope that made sense lol. The mango was really good too but it didn’t taste as natural. They were $3 each and def worth the hype!! . . . . . #icecream #viral #viralicecream #peach #peachicecream #mango #mangoicecream #dessert
