Eden restaurant, located at Hacienda Na Xamena Ibiza, has just opened one of the first “nests” in Spain, offering a 360º culinary experience for all the senses. If you are looking to enjoy a cuisine with the best products and signature dishes in a unique setting, bird’s eye view, intimate and overlooking the Mediterranean, this should be your next stop.

The premise of Hacienda Na Xamena Ibiza is very clear: to promote a philosophy based on slow food. And if on top of that you have spectacular views of the Mediterranean, we would stay there all summer. With 77 rooms and suites and facilities with all the Ibizan essence that offers an oasis of peace and wellbeing, the establishment has just opened a new area in its restaurant Eden, which makes it even more attractive.

The “nests”, located on the rooftop of the restaurant, can be booked privately and completely for weddings or other events, but also individually for celebrations, marriage proposals or family gatherings. In addition to an idyllic setting, the restaurant experience is a journey through the senses to “make guests happier after their visit to the ‘nests’. Our proposal is designed to make us happier, just as the birds are happier when they are at the top of a tree. This is the aim of this gastronomic experience for sharing, in which there is no noise, only soft music and the murmur of the sea, the dishes are shared and the presence of the staff is discreet and limited to presenting the dishes and serving the diners,” explains the Eden team.

To kick off its new culinary proposal, Na Xamena organized an opening party at which they offered an exquisite tasting menu based on local and Km. 0 products. Diners could taste delicacies such as an egg trompe l’oeil made with salted caramel, foie gras foam and caviar or a sophisticated crab with clarified pine butter, as a starter. The main courses consisted of turbot with shavings of Iberian ham and citrus touches of Ibiza and a dish of Wayú beef with smoked truffle mashed potatoes.

And to end the evening, the restaurant presented five varieties of desserts that began with a fresh explosion of lavender, through a granita flavored with an infusion of this flower; followed by a crisp and sparkling pear magnum, bathed in chocolate and with a rosemary caramel heart; an intense truffle of Ibizan herbs, covered with a delicate pistachio earth; a cloud of orange blossom and red fruits that concluded with a delicious chocolate “pineapple” that pays homage to the forests and the essence of Ibiza.

Among those attending the party were celebrities such as actress Maggie Civantos and model and DJ Cristina Tosio.
