A little over a year ago, the famous rapper and actor Langui opened his first tapas bar in Marbella. With the name of La Tasca del Langui, the artist opened his way to a new professional challenge focused on the world of hospitality. It is a modern tapas bar but with a classic gastronomic proposal that includes ensaladilla, chicharrones, tuna, fried fish cartridges or torreznos, among other options.

The rapper originally from the neighborhood of Pan Bendito in Madrid moved to San Pedro Alcántara, in Marbella, to carry out his new work project. If anything characterizes the Langui is his eagerness to not put any kind of barrier and also his good humor, in addition to his talent. That is why La tasca del Langui perfectly reflects the essence of the artist.

Starting with the decoration of the place. The lower part of the tables are inspired by Langui’s legs, which have always been a sign of identity of the rapper. Throughout the establishment we can also see different paintings and photographs of the artist, as well as barrels and other typical elements of a traditional tavern, with references to his professional career (such as the logo of La Excepción, Langui’s former band).

A varied menu of tapas

Those who go to try the Tasca del Langui will be able to taste a wide variety of traditional tapas and portions. The menu is divided into several sections, whose names, of course, also bear the seal of the artist: Tapas y al compás, Platunis, Aguantando el tirón, Pan Bendito or Cata Cheli… and to top it off, are some of the sections of the menu.

In addition to the recipes mentioned at the beginning of the article, such as the cartuchitos de pescado firto, diners can enjoy some good pinchitos (shrimp with curry, lamb with yogurt and mint sauce or wild red tuna from Almadraba). There are also stuffed squid tacos, oxtail timbale or Pascualete cheesecake (with paprika from La Vera, “not from elsewhere”, as indicated on the menu).

If this August you are on the Costa del Sol, Langui’s bar is a good option to enjoy summer tapas in the best atmosphere.

Where? At 24 Nueva Street, San Pedro Alcántara (Marbella, Málaga).
