The Kansas Chiefs star’s personal chef, Kumar Ferguson, revealed all the details about Kelce’s diet to maintain his football physique based on a 4,000-calorie diet.

Ferguson, who grew up with Kelce and ‘cooked for all the brothers’ during his childhood, eventually became his personal chef as Kelce needed to bolster his diet. Since 2016, he has been doing so by cooking three meals a day for the athlete, including oatmeal with fresh fruit for breakfast and seafood Alfredo for dinner.

And while the chef draws heavily on his culinary experience with different culinary influences while travelling, he’s also based that diet on Kelce’s childhood favourites like Hawaiian hot wings.

His father is a grill master, so that’s where I got the steaks in our diet,’ Ferguson says, noting that he incorporates a touch of soul food with unexpected seasonings.

Beyond that menu, the chef also alluded to his favourite butcher shop, The Upper Cut KC, where they buy steaks, and that they used to go to the trendy Rye restaurant for chicken fried steaks with sausage gravy, fried eggs and mashed potatoes.
