C Tangana is triumphing with his documentary This excessive ambition, a project that has just premiered on Movistar+ -after succeeding in cinemas- and which is nominated for the Goya. In this miniseries, El Madrileño shows his daily life as well as his professional career, such as the creation of his most ambitious tour or his travels through Latin America. There is also room for moments around a table, something that C Tangana loves. In fact, the concerts on his tour were planned in that format.

Reviewing the documentary, we have discovered which is the firm that “dresses” the tables in which many of the scenes of This excessive ambition take place. This is Casa Maricruz, an online store that sells Spanish crafts, combining tradition and modernity in its design. Behind the company is María Estrada together with the director Santos Bacana and Antón Álvarez himself -aka C Tangana-, the three partners of this project that has made a name for itself in the world of design.

Always promoting the dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, the Casa Maricruz collections range from ceramic tableware (from Granada, Cáceres, Mérida and Huelva), with pieces such as plates, bowls, vases, cups or candelabras. You can also purchase glass glasses (from Mallorca) or exclusive wooden boards (from Mallorca), as well as table linen such as tablecloths or napkins. These are pieces with totally unique designs, which claim craftsmanship as a “way of life, as aesthetics, as ethics and as part of the answers to many of today’s great challenges.”

On their website you can find more than 60 different pieces, all with their own style, striking colors and 100% artisan work, as well as sustainable and respectful.
