Real Beyoncé fans may already know that she loves homemade lemonade, and that she always carries hot sauce in her purse. Also that she loves spaghetti, to which she has even dedicated a track on her new album ‘Cowboy Carter‘. However, we wanted to go further to delve into the depths of her diet.

The artist, designer and mother follows a fairly strict routine to stay fit and energetic to cope with her tour and/or all the projects she has in hand. In fact, on some occasions she has shared with us her culinary rituals on the internet; which she has also wanted to share with some media. We collect all this gastronomic information to serve it at the Tapas table.

Breakfast

“I always have breakfast, for example, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie or whole-grain cereal with skim milk,” she told SHAPE. In addition, throughout the day, Beyoncé tries to drink at least half a liter of water with lemon and eats as many whole-grain foods as possible.

Lunch and snacks

For lunch and dinner I eat a lot of fish and vegetables”, she tells SHAPE in that same interview. But that doesn’t exclude carbs from the menu. Quinoa, pita bread and even the occasional pizza also coexist in her diet, as she shares on Instagram. In between meals, Beyoncé opts for a varied menu of popcorn, protein bars with banana or fresh fruit.

Dinner

Throughout the week, her dinner usually includes lean proteins and vegetables; while on both Sundays and date days she lets loose and eats a bit of whatever she feels like at the time. On many occasions she does this at some of her favorite NY restaurants such as Italian restaurants Mamo, Bar Pitti and Lucali. “I always treat myself on Sundays, when I can eat whatever I want. It’s usually pizza, which is my favorite treat,” she explains to SHAPE.
