We screen below the most representative dishes of the third season of the successful gastronomic drama that picks up Carmy’s story at the precise moment when she has just opened her chaotic haute cuisine restaurant. A main plot from which a series of dramas and catharsis such as the dissolution of her love affair with Claire are diluted.

Scallops in spinach puff pastry

One of Carmy’s most memorable culinary scenes happens in the first episode, in which she works with another chef to create elegant scallops wrapped in spinach and puff pastry. A sophisticated dish version of the scallop Wellington, a delicacy that you can replicate at home using fresh scallops, puff pastry and spinach.

Raviolo

Another of the most controversial changes to Carmy’s menu is the replacement of the classic ravioli with a large raviolo. The raviolo in question is rolled out by hand and filled with an egg yolk.

Grilled scallops

In the second episode, Carmy reinvents The Bear’s opening menu, including an elegant grilled scallop dish with cereal.

Lasagna with extra crispy edges

After Sugar (Abby Elliott) gives birth, Sydney stops by her house to drop off a plethora of prepared dishes that Sugar and her husband, Pete, can depend on for a few days. One of Sugar’s favorite dishes is lasagna with crispy edges.

Vegetable pie

Another gem on Carmy’s revamped menu is a vibrant tart filled with delicately cut and neatly arranged vegetables.

Roast chicken

Although we don’t see much food in this episode, we do witness Carmy teaching Tina the secrets of roast chicken in El Oso’s gleaming kitchen.

Potato gnocchi with veal cheeks

In the fifth episode entitled ‘Children’ potato gnocchi with veal cheeks is added to ‘The Bear’s’ rotating menu.
