These are the cheapest menus under 50 € in Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain

In gastronomy, we always associate haute cuisine and prizes with high prices. But, at a time when the concept of ‘affordable average ticket’ is hard to find, there are also quality options where you can enjoy an exceptional evening for 50 € or less. If you want to know where, here are nine cheap menus (for less than 50 €) from Michelin-starred restaurants. Take note!

Silabario (Vigo)

It is probably one of the cheapest menus of Michelin-starred restaurants. This Vigo restaurant offers the Berbés menu for only 32 €. A succulent proposal that includes an appetizer, a starter, a main course, a dessert of your choice and bread (drinks not included). You can try delicacies such as the “Empanadilla de choco y mayonnaise de cigala”, the Mussels in Mugardesa style, the grilled rock fish and socarrat or an apple strudel cake and cinnamon ice cream.

Chirón (Valdemoro, Madrid)

This restaurant in Valdemoro also offers another of the most economical haute cuisine menus. Its executive menu is priced at 34 € and it is a tasting menu proposal with a great quality/price/pleasure ratio, as indicated from the restaurant itself. You can try appetizers like the Yogurt of black pudding or mains like the rice socarrat of scallop and aioli (with a side dish). If you want pairing, for 15 € you can drink some excellent wines from Madrid.

Trigo (Valladolid)

We continue with Michelin-starred proposals under 50 €. On this occasion, the Valladolid restaurant offers the Menu Como en casa for just 40 €, and includes appetizers, 2 starters, fish or meat, cheese or dessert, bread and water. For those who want to enjoy the evening with their fantastic wine cellar, for an extra charge they can include wine pairing service.

Les Moles (Ulldecona, Tarragona)

At chef Jeroni Castell’s restaurant you will find a menu for only 43,90 €. Although currently closed for vacations until February 14, Les Moles serves the Tradition Menu, which consists of 3 appetizers and other delicacies such as his version of Russian salad, monkfish tempura, parsley and lemon, his delicious rice and artichokes galleys, or chicken cannelloni and foie gras, gratin with boletus béchamel. It is available from Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime, and on Fridays and Saturdays at dinnertime for 49,90 €.

Xerta (Barcelona)

In this gastronomic restaurant of chef Fran López there is an executive menu available from Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime that costs only €45. It includes appetizer, a starter, a meat or fish, a dessert and two glasses of wine, bread, water and petit fours. Almost nothing! Located in the Ohla Eixample Hotel in Barcelona, it is a unique opportunity to taste the cuisine of the Ebro Lands.

Garena (Dima)

Among the options offered by the gastronomic proposal of Julen Baz, we find its Market Menu for 48 €. It is designed to enjoy the best product of the day, and includes appetizer, starter, market dish, fish or meat, and dessert. Available from Monday to Friday working days and Saturday nights.

Ababol (Albacete)

The famous restaurant of chef Juan Monteagudo, in addition to including in its menu the best croquettes in Spain and offering spectacular tasting menus, also has one of the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant menus: its Seasonal Menu for only 50 €. It is a proposal of haute cuisine designed for the day to day, which is served on Wednesdays and Thursdays at lunchtime. Of course, you have the opportunity to try their incredible croquette, plus two starters, a main course and a dessert, which vary according to the season. Drinks are not included.

Arrea! (Santa Cruz de Campezo, Álava)

Arrea! es uno de los restaurantes con estrella Michelin que ofrece menús baratos por 50 €.

In this list of Michelin-starred restaurants that offer cheap menus can not miss our T de Oro del País Vasco in 2022. The restaurant Arrea! serves haute cuisine for only 50 € in its Mendialdea menu. It is a closed proposal of 5 dishes and putxero based on seasonality and local market. Available at lunchtime from Wednesday to Sunday (and drinks are not included).

Fogony (Sort, Lérida)

Closes this exclusive and affordable list the restaurant Fogony, in the lucky town of Sort, Lleida, which serves its Km. 0 Menu for just 50 €. It includes three small appetizers to start, along with a first, a second, dessert, homemade bread and filtered water at the time (other drinks apart). A good opportunity to taste a proposal of haute cuisine, sustainable and with a high quality raw material.
