The lobster is caught, consumed or inspires Lánthimos’ films. Now, it even stands on the podium of the Paris catwalk with Louis Vuitton.
Under the creative vision of Pharrell Williams and NIGO, the fall-winter 2025 proposal becomes a celebration of their joint legacy, while exploring the intersection between streetwear and luxury tailoring. Within that symbiosis presented as a tribute to Japanese culture, three gastronomic elements stand out: lobster, Koi carp and gyoza. Although the one that really presents a clear distinction in the proposal is the crustacean, and it has an explanation.
On Pharrell and Nigo‘s last trip to Japan, the idea of creating this collection was born. From there, they developed the concept throughout the trip and experiences such as fishing for lobsters. An act that they decided to immortalize through fashion, as a symbol of eternal friendship and / or main element of FW25. In this sense, the lobster inspires the entire collection, and appears represented in bags in different formats, as well as in some garments such as a sweater in warm shades.
