‘WE ARE CLOSING SOON ⚫️🔴. A Mala Saña c/San Germán 50, is closing its doors. If you have not yet tried our most illustrious and delicious, do not hesitate to book and come. https://amalasana.com/reservas/. The farewell party will be on the 25th of January, full day. We look forward to seeing you all’. With these words the ‘king of malasañas’ bids farewell to what is one of the favourite restaurants on the Madrid scene.
Amalasaña stood out for its innovative reinterpretations of the classic Italian artisan lasagna with meticulously selected fresh ingredients. From the classic lasagna bolognese to daring creations such as the ‘Mrs. Norris’, a version of lasagna bolognese or the ‘Srto. Diañu Burlon’, which fuses the best of Asturian gastronomic culture with Italian charm.
His proposal also included other lasagnas characterised by their unusual combinations such as béchamel and coconut or chorizo in cider, which can be enjoyed until 25 January, the day on which Héctor from AMALASAÑA finally bids farewell to the neighbourhood where he made history forever with his lasagnas.
