The Valencian hamburger restaurant, which later expanded into the capital, has just fulfilled its dream. Its hamburger has been chosen as the best in the world for the first time in ‘The World’s Best Burgers‘, unseating the American status that monopolized the crown.
Specifically, it has been for its preparation called ‘Singular‘, which was chosen among more than 800 participating burgers from 62 different countries, for its combination of Galician beef, cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, bacon, caramelized onion and camembert cream.
HUNDRED BURGERS is the Valencian hamburger restaurant founded in 2020 by Alex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Maldjian that stands out for its artisan approach and its constant evolution in search of perfection. The restaurant, which has four establishments, three of them in Madrid, stands out for having on its menu premium burgers made with fresh and artisan ingredients, as well as a demi-brioche bun baked every morning. Its dry-aged Galician blonde cow meat is also minced daily.
Hundred Burgers was not the only national hamburger restaurant to win a prize in the contest; Briochef from Madrid was ranked 17th among the 25 chosen, while the Valencian Soul Coffee was promoted to number 10 in the contest; Spain being the second country with the highest presence in the list, after the United States.
