The company behind the Telepizza group, Food Delivery Brands, has chosen Herrero as the new CEO of the group, following the resignation in September of Jacobo Caller as head of the company. This appointment will be completed and made effective from 5 February after the next shareholders’ meeting.

Rafael Herrero joins the group with the aim of making the positioning of the brands profitable in their respective markets through an expert profile in the restaurant industry, especially in the fast food sector, after having managed the Zena group, owner of brands such as Foster’s Hollywood and Ginos, which will pass into the hands of the Mexican group Alsea until 2020.

A year earlier, he was appointed general manager of the company for the Iberian market, managing the strategy of Vips, Domino’s Pizza and Starbucks.
