Here at Tapas we have compiled the best plans to make the most of the weekend in Madrid, and to indulge in hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, festivals, events and museums. Grab your diary and take note of our suggestions for the most artistic weekend of the year.

FRIDAY 7TH

This week creativity is diluted in the capital to form a great work of art to be appreciated from different spaces, galleries and fairs. On Friday we will begin the contemplative practice at UVNT ART FAIR, the contemporary art fair that will be installed one more year in Matadero Madrid -until March 9th- with a new edition that will explore the freshest languages, updating aesthetic codes and establishing new trends in the art world.

In its space will coexist the works of a series of galleries such as ARMA Gallery, Arniches 26 or Espacio Derivado, and emerging and mid-career artists from the national and international contemporary scene such as Adela Angulo Portugal, Adrián Castañeda or Alex Gambín in order to reimagine cultural landscape under their perspectives. If you still don’t have your ticket for UVNT, you can get it through this link.

At night, we’ll be partying at Tombolo Club, which returns to Sala Siroco after a long break to experience its latest edition with special guest Zeynep, who will bring her dreamy and euphoric sounds to the club. Get your ticket here.

SATURDAY 8TH

On Saturday we will continue our artistic route at ARCO. The international contemporary art fair, conceived as one of the most important platforms for promoting and disseminating artistic creation, will once again bring together galleries, artists, professionals and institutions to promote collecting, research and dissemination of contemporary art. This new edition will feature the presence and talent of artists and galleries Max Hetzler, Raquel Arnaud, Thomas Schulte and Peter Kilchmann.

From IFEMA we will move on to experience another creative discipline, this time based on mixology. And we will do so from the new FLUID bar, run by bartenders and entrepreneurs Marc Álvarez and Juanillo Falcón. In this fluid space, creativity is felt and expressed in different ways: both through plastic art and music, to connect with each of their works. FLUID’s menu features original signature drinks, such as the Pear and Sage, along with a tapas menu featuring dishes such as nori seaweed in tempura or the speck sandwich with pesto and cheese.

Currently, customers can enjoy an abstract work that Rafa García has created for the premises. In the lounge, you can also find a backlit work by Berlin-based artist Luis West. All this is accompanied by dj sets and ambient music ranging from deep house to nu-disk, curated to close the artistic circle of the concept.

SUNDAY 9

The prelude to the next art fair will take place at Llama Inn, a Peruvian brunch fused with New York touches.

The menu features a variety of snacks, such as the Iberian prey anticucho with aji panca and rocoto carretillero chilli, or a chistorra, scrambled egg, manchego and spicy mayo sandwich. In the cold dishes section we can also find scallop or mixed ceviches, dictated by the catch of the day, as well as hot dishes such as lomo saltado or eggs Benedict. The happy ending is provided, this time, by their lucuma with olive oil and salt and their tres leches with coconut, white chocolate and pomace cream.

We will close the weekend with JUSTMAD 2025 at the Palacio de Neptuno. The contemporary art fair presents its sixteenth edition in which the works of fifteen galleries will be exhibited, which together with the remaining twenty-five, will bring together artists from today’s emerging scene. Where to find it? At Cervantes, 42.
