From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the weekend in Madrid, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.
FRIDAY 3
On Friday night we will go down to the basement of The Bassement to dance the night away with the cast of emerging djs of the NEW FACES 011 edition. They will enter the booth Anxiety for living, Katia B2B Omak, Nëtn and Yeiks with their techno and electronic mixes with which they are beginning to resonate well strong in the clubber scene. In addition, there are free invitations until 1:30 AM (until full capacity). Don’t miss yours, and get your early bird ticket here.
SATURDAY 4
Casa Fidel will welcome us at one of its tables to offer us its menu specialized in traditional, Madrilenian and Mediterranean cuisine. There we will enjoy its ode cañí with dishes such as its natural artichokes with ham and homemade foie, its Russian salad and its homemade croquettes as a ration. For dessert, its classic cheesecake, with which to continue with a traditional after-dinner wine paired with wines until late in the afternoon.
After this national rite, we will head to the artistic neighborhood par excellence of the capital. In Carabanchel, we will visit Casa Antillón to admire the work of the famous collective of architects Marta Ochoa + Yosi Negrín + Ismael López + Emmanuel Álvarez.
Their exploration of cultural territories, understanding the construction of space from the exhibition experimentation, the social event and the curating of emerging art is now materialized in their small gallery of emerging art in which they accommodate different cultural activities, regular exhibitions, and much more.
SUNDAY 5
On Sunday we will be delighted with the musical brunch at Falling Leaves restaurant. His ‘piano brunch’ in which the experience is paired with the sounds of his live pianist, is designed by Juan Luis Dastis, the chef behind his grilled cuisine based on seasonal produce. A stimulating banquet where you can taste classics such as salmon, avocado toast or eggs Benedict on brioche bread with hollandaise sauce and sundried tomato.
As Epiphany night falls, we’ll treat ourselves to a selfie at the ENIGMA party, which will resonate with its night of techno, trance and high BPM hardcore. Its eclectic line-up of EARSGASM GOD, MEG10, DJ FINAL BOSS AKA LVL1, ORFIGYAL, ARIES, KLAU and SALOMELODY will be playing their best sets from 11pm until 5.30am. Get your pass here.
