From Tapas we have compiled the best plans with which to make the most of the weekend in Madrid, and to indulge in hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, festivals, events and museums. Grab your diary and take note of our weekly proposal.
FRIDAY 13TH
This weekend we will combine different artistic experiences in the same menu: from the fashion of the MBFWM catwalks, to festival concerts or innovative gastronomic evenings.
We’ll start it off with an enigmatic tasting with a Biga Clandestina dinner. The concept that has revolutionised the capital with its pizza rituals, generates a kind of cult around this preparation, which they share in dinners organised with 12 strangers who don’t really know what’s going to happen.
This is a pizza omakase experience where diners are served a tasting menu of 8 courses + dessert. Drinks, with a choice of wines, beers or cocktails from speciality brands such as Gin Mare can also be ordered to add the perfect pairing to this exciting evening. The location is secret, and will be revealed a few hours before the event.
The night won’t end with dinner. We will continue partying until dawn in the Sala Cocó. The Discoteca is now back with a new season that will open with a BIG SPECIAL OPENING, featuring its usual resident DJS, and some surprise artists that have not yet been revealed. If you want to save the FOMO, get your pass here.
SATURDAY 14TH
On Saturday lunchtime we will discover one of the most appetising culinary novelties in the capital: Santiago Ultramarinos. This new design restaurant, specialising in preserves and select groceries, serves its proposal in the middle of an aesthetic space dressed in warm earth tones, set to relaxing music in the background.
In its menu we can find its gourmet ‘lateo’ dishes of anchovies, anchovies, mussels or ventresca, but also other varied dishes such as prawns, shrimps, eggs, salads, fish and meats. Where to find it? In Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones, 1.
In the afternoon we’ll change our look to go to the Coca Cola Music Experience festival in Getafe. For its 14th edition, artists of different genres of the calibre of Rauw Alejandro, Manuel Turizo, Myke Towers or Young Miko, among many others, will be on stage.
On Saturday we will also be treated to the siren songs and flamenco sounds of Lara Fernández. Judeline, who begins her European tour opening for J Balvin, has become one of the most revered musical talents of our generation. With her we will be able to sing and dance to new songs like ‘INRI’ or ‘Romero Santo’, as well as great classics or hits like ‘Tánger’ or ‘Zahara’.
SUNDAY 15TH
Sunday will be dedicated entirely to fashion, specifically from the IFEMA site to witness and experience the new edition of Allianz EGO in the framework of MBFWM.
Fashion Week will close with this platform for emerging talent that seeks to highlight designers who see fashion as a means of expression and culture. This time it will bring together on the catwalk a new cast of designers made up of Karlo Modenes, Alejandre, Boltad, Arturo de la Rosa, XVStrange and H05.
