From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the weekend in Madrid, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.

FRIDAY 16

On Friday we will align ourselves to the evasive frequency of the urban oasis of Hard Rock Hotel Madrid. With your day pass you can relax in one of the Balinese lounges in the outdoor garden, and cool off in the pool, and then taste some of their culinary specialties such as guacamole with tortilla chips and pico de gallo, salmon bowls, tuna or vegan options.

The experience will be topped off with some of their ice creams and cocktails under the sun. Find out more about their day pass here. Where? At Ronda de Atocha, 17.

SATURDAY 17TH

After Friday’s plan of relaxation and meditation, we will have the energy recharged to eat in one of the most legendary Italian restaurants in the capital: Alduccio. This is the restaurant that has been making history in Madrid since 1962, attracting personalities such as Sofia Loren, Alfredo di Stefano, Depeche Mode or Karol G to its classic dining room.

Like all of them, we will enjoy their elaborations carried out as in the authentic Italian houses. We will taste some of their classics such as fettuccine, lasagna or gorgonzola gnocchi. Also their pizzas made with sourdough like the capricciosa or the Alduccio with mozzarella, gorgonzola and parmigiano.

At nightfall we will have fun at the Cadavra club with the CDVR x Casa Pangea party. A special night where the DJ line-up of Yuraq Walla, Sriraxa & Os Irmaos on Hell, plus a new Paradise x Open Decks, will add the sound to an unforgettable summer night.

SUNDAY 18

We will get rid of the hangover through art with Filip Custic‘s exhibition at the Museo Cerralbo. As part of the PhotoESPAÑA 2024 festival, the artist is exhibiting a retrospective that covers his production. From his neo-baroque digital compositions to a venous bust where the bronze of the effigy has liquefied to give life to other bodies.

This exhibition reaffirms the listening capacity of a museum interested not only in its present and its past, but also in the contemporary and its context. The space assumes the exhibition while the artist visits, far from the logic of the tourist, an interstice full of possibilities.

As a good Sunday ritual, we will go for an aperitif at Hermanos Vinagre. Specifically to their new place located in Lavapiés, in Argumosa 12. There we will extend the evening until late combining the infallible formula of fashion that attracts all generations: a neotaberna that evokes the bars of all life + gildas + vermouth. All this will be accompanied by cockles, pickled mussels and a few well-drawn beers to complete the traditional ritual with friends.
