From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the most of the weekend in Ibiza, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.

FRIDAY 28

This weekend we will fly to Ibiza to discover the novelties that it displays through different artistic expressions that represent the island itself.

The first experience will be gastronomic. And it will be at Casa Linda, the Ibizan and Mediterranean cuisine restaurant located in the garden of the Hotel Jardines de Palerm Ibiza, successfully opened by the Spanish restaurateur Tomás Abellán (Casa Luz, Bar Alegría). In the midst of this oasis, an ode to traditional Catalan cuisine is served under the direction of Mariano Segura (formerly of Tickets, Barcelona) as head chef, while his sister Júlia Navarro runs the restaurant.

Simplicity, honesty and vibrant flavors are the essence of Casa Linda. Embodying the concept of home-cooked food, each seasonal ingredient at the Ibizan restaurant is sourced locally, through close relationships with the island’s expert fishermen and farmers. The menu is designed in homage to an old finca, and each section takes diners on a journey through the cold store (from the fresquera), the pantry (from the pantry), the orchard and chicken coop (from the orchard and chicken coop), and the grill (from the fires).’

That philosophy is precisely what feeds its diners through dishes such as a delicious Cantabrian anchovy toast cured with smoked butter, its iconic sobrasada, cheese and honey bikini or tomato tartar with wasabi guacamole; to finish with a milk ice cream or strawberries with cream. Where? At Can Pujol d’en Cardona, 34.

SATURDAY 29TH

On Saturday we will become guests at The Concept Hotels’ new hotel: Los Felices Ibiza, which has just opened its doors in the evocative San Antonio Bay. Dedicated to the world of fashion, the project is inspired by the mid-century style and glamour of Palm Springs in the 60s. An identity with which it dresses its building and furniture in nostalgia and pastel tones; while dedicating its rooms to different national designers of reference.

There we will experience the feeling and vibe of the eternal Ibizan summer, escaping in their pools and in their restaurant for which they have developed an exclusive brand where the tradition of Neapolitan pizza merges with the cool status of fashion.

In the afternoon, we will visit the CAN ART contemporary art fair: the melting pot of constant renewal that brings together more than thirty national and international galleries to project contemporary artistic currents. Among the artists are some names such as ARJEN, Adrian Balseca, Alma Berrow or Andy Woll.

‘The third edition of Contemporary Art Now, to be held June 26-30, 2024 at FECOEV, is framed by a philosophy that pushes to explore the limits of what is current and innovative. It is a space dedicated to discovering, integrating and celebrating the freshest and most avant-garde artistic expressions, where art emerges as a force in constant reinvention.’

SUNDAY 30

We will continue to receive the stimulation of the island’s gastronomic art at Tatel Ibiza. The design restaurant recovers in its space the legend of the clandestine bars of the American 20’s combining innovative techniques and current tastes with a proposal of signature cocktails, along with its avant-garde gastronomic offer of Mediterranean inspiration.

TATEL Ibiza offers a traditional Spanish menu with international influences with dishes such as truffled omelette, milanesa with poached egg, red tuna tartar, Russian salad with king crab and caviar or wild sea bass ceviche. All this as a continuation of its delicious rice dishes with prawns or lobster.

We can not leave Ibiza without enjoying some of its coves with crystal clear waters. So, after the evening, we will go to Sòl d’en Serra: a cove of stones located at the foot of a cliff with clear water. In addition, there is located one of the most outstanding beach clubs of the island: Amante Beach Club, where we can have a cocktail in their hammocks with terraces arranged on the sea.
