From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the most of the weekend in Barcelona, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.
FRIDAY 20
On Friday we will return once again to Sita Abellán‘s OUTOPIA party at Sala Apolo, where the dj and internet icon will once again shake up rave lovers with her intense techno beats.
The booth will also feature artists such as Cinthie, the Berlin-based producer and DJ, considered one of the most sought-after in the contemporary electronic scene, as well as Ian Pooley, who has performed at a long list of important clubs and festivals, from Panoramabar to Glastonbury Festival. Get your pass for OUTOPIA: SITA – TAAHLIAH / Cinthie live – Ian Pooley here.
SATURDAY 21
On Saturday we will eat at Xavier Pellicer‘s eponymous restaurant to taste and be inspired by its design and sustainable cuisine focused on biodynamics. It is a bet he makes with organic products, proximity and healthy, in line with the gastronomic concept that offers diners: Healthy Kitchen a balance between the pleasure of ingestion and digestion wellness.
Among the novelties of Pellicer are the incorporation of the grill, the wok and the spices with which he dresses his dishes, based on seasonal products and adapted to all kinds of diets and needs. The dishes will be accompanied with some of his natural wines selected with the sommelier Anna Darakhvelidze.
In the evening we will go to the concert of LEÏTI, who will take the stage at Razzmatazz 2 to present his tour FUEGO LIVE! The rapper and actor, considered one of the key players in the growing underground scene in Barcelona, will shake the audience with tracks from 2024 as FREE ZAKARIA, Barretina or SALMOS 23, along with other mythical as Abama Jr. Suite. Get your pass here.
SUNDAY 22
On Sunday we will have brunch all’italiana at Doppieta, one of the most outstanding Italian restaurants in Barcelona where its chef Bresciano Nicola Valle shares its essence: ‘a nostalgic memory based on the Italian tradition, when homemade products and a glass of wine brought them together at the table at home or at the corner bar’.
There we will taste the large buffet that serves with plenty of options to choose from: from salads or vitello tonnato to fontina cheese, brie, caciocavallo or focaccias. We will continue with their hot dishes such as rissottos, pasta alla nerano, mezze maniche alla carbonara, to finish in style with their handmade porcetta.
