After 20 years, Louis Vuitton once again unites its imaginary with that of renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to launch a new fashion and lifestyle collection that includes collector’s pieces such as a coffee glass sculpted in ceramic, wrapped in a protective sleeve with Murakami’s iconic multicolored monogram.
In order to take the collection to the experiential level, the duo has decided to open a pop-up on Cat Street in Harajuku with four immersive zones including a cinema, a care station and a coffee shop. All of them sealed by the artist’s identity and his colorful interpretation of the LV monogram and its flowers in a design space inspired by Tokyo’s capsule hotels.
Coffee Zingaro’s Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton coffee shop, located inside, thus becomes a must-visit for its stunning digital installations, as well as colorful Vuitton flower cookies and matcha lattes with Murakami’s signature ‘super-flat’ flowers. The pop-up store and café will be open until January 26.
