The London-based Taiwanese restaurant chain continues to explore the intersection between gastronomy and art under a new creative discipline: fashion. And it does so with none other than cult brands such as Simone Rocha, Carhartt WIP and SHUSHU/TONG.

In the framework of the Lunar New Year 2025, BAO has enlisted these selected ‘friends’ to launch a special collection for Dover Street Market. The culinary party, which will take place in DSM shops in London, Singapore and Ginza, will feature an immersive grocery-style installation.

Inspired by the vibrant aesthetic of Asian boutiques, the BAO & Friends pop-up shop will showcase a range of products including LNY-themed Carhartt WIP T-shirts, bright red scarves from SHUSHU/TONG and Simone Rocha’s signature snake-inspired necklaces. In addition, fashionistas will be able to shop for Good Squish scrunchies, Deathmask rubber clogs and sad face motif jewellery courtesy of YVMIN.

The BAO corner will also feature a merchandising collection with embroidered caps, engraved Zippo lighters and personalised water bottles, all signed by LNY. Finally, the chain will complete the experience with a range of Taiwanese snacks and drinks such as BAO’s Weeping Sake and Umeshu negronis, and a new BAO Chilli Crisp Oil.

The BAO x Dover Street Market party kicks off today 16 January at Dover Street Market shops in London, Ginza and Singapore.
