It has been almost two years since rapper Snoop Dogg joined forces with Master P to create his own food brand Broadus Foods, with the intention of promoting diversity in the food industry. During this time they have been introducing new products such as Snoop Cereal, a line of colorful cereals. To reach more consumers, the rappers partnered with Post Foods. Thus, they undertook to market their products in large supermarkets such as Walmart.

But it seems that, according to Snoop Dogg and Master P, some aspects of the agreement have not been fulfilled and they accuse both Post Foods and Walmart of boycotting their cereals, hiding them from the shelves so that they are not bought by customers, in addition to setting exorbitant prices. The artists have even gone so far as to describe the events as “diabolical actions”.

For its part, Post Foods has stated that it made “substantial investments in the business” and was “equally disappointed that consumer demand has not met expectations, according to Billboard. As for Walmart, a company spokesperson also stated that they will respond as appropriate with the Court, in the event that the complaint is formalized.

For the past few weeks, Snoop Cereal’s networks have been focused on promoting the sale of its products through the Amazon platform. We will see how this conflict ends.
