As it does every year, the Krug Champagnes champagne brand pays tribute to an ingredient to be paired with a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée or Krug Rosé. For this celebration, it invites prestigious chefs from around the world to explore the potential of the chosen ingredient and embark on a culinary adventure without limits. In 2023, that single ingredient is lemon, and one of the adventurous chefs who will play with them will be the Malaga-born Dani García.
And he will do so at Kemuri, his new omakase bar concept located in Marbella. For the occasion, Dani Garcia will serve an exclusive tasting menu with the best of the highest level of Japanese cuisine and a liquid proposal of height, with lemon as the protagonist and common thread in this acidic experience. This citrus fruit has also been chosen because it brings tension and balance to the pairing of the two new editions Krug Grande Cuvée 171ème and Krug Rosé 27ème.
Kemuri has a capacity for 14 diners, so only a few will be able to enjoy the exclusive menu this May 11. The price of the Omakase Menu and Krug pairing is 315 €. Some of the dishes that can be tasted are green apple, green sisho and yogurt, mango Kakigori and UME or sweet octopus, pickled karashi and Takobushi Dashi. A journey to millenary Japan while enjoying traditional Japanese cuisine combined with Mediterranean flavors and the final toast with Krug champagne.
