London-based brand JORDANLUCA, creatively led by designers Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, teams up with Italian design company Seletti to distort fantasy tableware that somewhat subverts classic tea sets.
Their updated take on traditional design is represented in melted craft pieces that pay tribute to the hedonistic UK rave scenes of the 1990s.
The ‘Psychodelic’ cups, plates, trays and teapots are made of pristine porcelain, with elegant golden details. Meanwhile, the swaying contours reflect distorted visions that simulate a hallucinogenic aptitude.
The tea set entitled ‘Meltdown‘ is available now from the SELETTI website. Prices range from 78 to 140 euros.
