In recent years, Selena Gomez has become quite the foodie lover. A few months ago she presented the show ‘Selena + chef’ on HBO Max, in which she invited prestigious chefs to teach her cooking tips. Now, the actress and singer is back with two new culinary projects, but this time for the Food Newtwork channel.
The first project will revolve around celebrations around a table. It is scheduled to premiere in the run-up to Christmas, a peak time for gatherings. “The holidays are always a big deal for Food Network, reaching nearly 60 million P2+ viewers, and having Selena kick off nearly 100 hours of new and recurring holiday programming will certainly make this upcoming season one to celebrate,” announced Kathleen Finch, President and Chief Content Officer, Food Network.
On the other hand, the second show starring Selena Gomez will also start filming soon, but it will probably premiere as early as 2024. Although the network did not reveal many details about it, this project will bring together the best chefs in the country to help Selena cook her most popular dishes. These are not the only food-related businesses in which the American artist has participated. A year ago, Selena collaborated with the Our Place brand to launch a cookware collection, which also donated 10% of all profits to improve mental health services.
