The cocktail bar dedicated to celebrating Campari’s legacy, called Camparino in Galleria, extends its liquid experience with a new ‘clandestine’ format in which to serve large doses of the unmistakable deep red Italian bitter, among many other things.
Sala Gaspare opens its doors in the same laboratory where Gaspare Campari created the recipe for the eponymous liqueur, as a bar designed to immerse diners or visitors in the deep history of the drink.
Based on its unique structure and language, Vudafieri-Saverino Partners designed this space for only 12 diners, which interrelates iconic Milanese symbols with avant-garde elements.
A tasting menu will be served, recreating old recipes from the laboratory’s books with contemporary influences, as well as a selection of cocktails made with the same ingredients that Gaspare Campari used to create his own blends of cordials, bitters and vermouths.
In addition to these mixes, classic Campari cocktails such as the Negroni and Boulevardier will be served alongside a selection of aperitifs to complete the Campari experience.
