Since inflation and the cost of living has skyrocketed, many businesses have had to adjust their profit margins to make ends meet. Sometimes it’s not enough, though. A well-known Houston store called Ninja Ramen posted a devastating message a few days ago explaining that the business was struggling not to close. After the pandemic, they’ve only managed to regain 80% of their pre-covid clientele. And despite having raised prices 50 cents in three years, it was not enough to cope with rising costs across the board.
As a result, the owner of the shop had been forced to take several actions to try to prevent the fateful end. One of those actions has gone viral, as the owner, Christopher Huang, has decided to create a Ninja Ramen account on OnlyFans. Playing with the expression ‘send nudes’ and adapting it to ‘send noods’, he is encouraging his customers to send him photos as they enjoy eating ramen and he will post them on the profile, subject to consent, of course.
Christofer stated in the post that he did not know how to ask for “help in a classy way” and appealed to the people of Houston to do their bit to save this business that has been in the city for more than 10 years.
This is not the only measure he has taken to get the business back on track. Huang has also brought out a discount to enjoy the country’s largest selection of Asian whiskies. He is also calling on other chefs and establishments to make synergies and common events. And finally, he highlights the quality of his product and the variety of his menu, both in food and cocktails.
