Pizza box may have been evidence to arrest Andrew Tate in Romania
Former boxer and streamer Andrew Tate had been under criminal investigation since April, along with his brother, accused of allegedly forming an organized criminal group that recruited and exploited women to create pornographic content for later distribution, Romania TV reported. In recent days, Tate continued to create content on his social networks and had been in a controversy with activist Greta Thunberg. It all started following a tweet Tate posted in which he asked Greta for an email to send him a complete list of her car collection – 33 in total – and the respective huge emissions produced by each vehicle.
The activist was not far behind and replied with a strong message: “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com”.
And this is when the exchange of tweets began, which, according to the analysis of a Twitter user, ended up revealing Tate’s whereabouts in Romania, although it has been confirmed that it was more a theory than something 100% proven. The streamer replied to her again with a new video in which he appeared smoking a cigar and attacking the young activist. At one point, Andrew asks for some pizzas to be brought to him, emphasizing that they do not recycle the boxes. Then boxes from a famous Romanian pizza chain, Jerry’s Pizza, appear on the scene. In recent weeks, Tate had posted content in different locations, playing a game of misdirection. But he has finally been arrested by Romanian authorities.
Romanian authorities reportedly needed proof that Andrew Tate was in the country, and allegedly used these social media posts to confirm that he was in Romania. They arrested him along with his brother and two other people. “The four suspects appear to have set up an organized crime group with the aim of recruiting, harboring and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content intended for viewing on specialized websites in exchange for money,” authorities commented. “They would have earned significant sums of money,” they added.
Greta’s response has not been long in coming. Thus, the young activist hit back with a new zasca: “This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes”. The tweet accumulated 150 thousand likes in half an hour.
