As it could not be anywhere else in the world, this liquid expression emerges from the city of Jalisco, and stands out for its unusual combination of flavor notes. Between nuts and sweetness, Chica Chida tequila can be drunk neat, or combined in cocktails with that sweet touch of peanut butter.
Chica Chida has made this version of tequila made with agave espadín and allergen-free peanut butter extract a reality. Another fact that is far from a traditional tequila is its alcohol content, as this one has 32%, compared to the 40% that generic versions usually have.
The spirit was launched in early 2024 as a collaboration between Piermont Brands and Caleb Pressley of Barstool Sports, and has caught the attention of the global industry for its disruptive nature with which ‘they have challenged the prevailing seriousness of the industry,’ according to its website.
