Papua will manage the gastronomic offer of WOW Concept

The catering group will be in charge of the building’s new culinary space.

The new restaurant project to reactivate the gastronomic experience of WOW Concept will soon open its doors. A renovated concept that will now be managed by Grupo Papúa and will be installed on the fifth and sixth floors of the building at Gran Vía 18.

The culinary space will also be co-managed by its chairman Dimas Gimeno, who currently owns 50% control of the company, and Gregorio Jiménez, chairman of Burger King, who recently acquired the Madrid building for 70 million euros, and expressed his support for Dimas’ new restaurant plan in which he will also develop events.

This collaborative agreement with the Papúa restaurant group will materialise in the coming weeks at the top of the establishment that was previously run by Grupo Triciclo. Now, the restaurant will be reborn with a new objective: to turn it into the trendiest restaurant and a benchmark in the capital, both for its ambience and its gastronomic offer, together with spacious terraces overlooking the Gran Vía.

Dimas Gimeno emphasised the importance of this new restaurant as a unique meeting point in Madrid: “Now, our customers will not only be able to discover the latest trends in Gran Vía 18, but will also have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience to complete their evening”.

In parallel to this project, WOW’s forecast is to achieve a turnover of 40 million euros by the end of this financial year and to reach positive ebitda for the first time in the financial year 2025.
