On Britain’s latest ‘This Morning’ show, ‘The Last Showgirl’ star and cookbook author, among many other things, revealed she is a real pickle fan. In fact, drawing on her culinary skills, she talked about her and her family’s connection to pickles.

‘I’m a pickler. I come from a long line of picklers,’ said the cookbook author, explaining that her love of pickles runs in the family. ‘My great aunt Vie won every pickle and mustard award on Vancouver Island. It’s a very serious thing in my family.

The model’s aunt would teach her how to make pickles, but Anderson makes them in a more poetic and romantic way. ‘I put dried roses in my pickles,’ she shared. ‘We’re all trying to outdo each other.’

Host Hammond wanted to present Anderson on the show with her ‘first batch of pickles’ dubbed ‘Pammy’s Pickles’. The former Broadway star happily accepted the pickles, admiring and approving of the naming. ‘I’m doing something possibly called Pamela’s Pickles,’ she commented, and Hammond quipped, ’Am I the person who invented your new show?’

Anderson replied that it’s not a show, but ‘an episode of something’. When Hammond asked for more details about the pickle plan, Anderson said enthusiastically, ‘I’m going to sell pickles! I make pickles in my spare time. You have to do a little bit of everything these days, you know.
