We’ve all been heartbroken at some point when our OREOs break. That feeling of sadness can now be reversed, and put back on track with this cream glue that the company has launched.

Oreo is introducing an innovative biscuit repair system inspired by a Japanese technique: the art of Kintsugi. It is an artistic practice that celebrates imperfection by mending broken pottery with gold.

Now the cream, beyond becoming a repair or DIY tool, acts as the ‘gold’ in the masterpiece, allowing it to be filled in further and turning it into a piece worthy of admiration.

So far, the limited edition Kintsugi Oreo has only been sold in Mexico, but a broken bikkie is universal, so let’s hope so.
