Oreo and Coca-Cola are teaming up to star in a love story about friendship ‘forever’, even if only in essence, since the products are limited edition.

The brands have wanted to revolutionize the market with two effervescent novelties: a Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar soft drink and Coca-Cola Oreo cookies. Both the candy and the drink will be available from September 9, wrapped in stylish black packaging. Their designs are replete with stacked Oreo images that evoke the silhouette of a classic Coca-Cola glass bottle.

But what’s really special is on the inside. The Oreo Coca-Cola sandwich cookies are made with two different cookies: one with the look of the classic chocolate cookie, but with the soda flavor of Coca-Cola syrup; while the other half of the sandwich is a golden red Oreo cookie with the “Coca-Cola” logo and bubble patterns. Interspersed between the black and red cookies is a layer of classic cream and candies that mimic the fizz of the soft drink.

Details about the beverage are somewhat fuzzier. According to a press release, Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar aims to combine a ‘smooth fusion of the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola with hints of Oreo cookie-inspired flavor.’

Fans of the collaboration who can’t wait until September 9 can sign up for a pre-sale on Oreo’s website to stay informed about the launch.
