Although in our country we know it as Sunny Delight, in the United States it is just SunnyD. It is one of the legendary orange drinks of childhood in the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s. This orange juice, which has been coming out with a wide variety of flavours, such as berries, strawberry, lemon-lime, among others, is also trying to reach a more adult public. That is why, from 11 March, it will launch a new product aimed at adults, mainly because it is an alcoholic drink. Apparently, in the United States it is very popular to add SunnyD to your cocktails. So the brand has decided to go one step further and has created Seltzer Vodka.
Sunny Vodka, the next trendy drink?
As part of a new line of SunnyD cocktails, the first launch is an alcoholic drink with 4.5% alcohol content that retains the iconic orange flavour we all know. It also has only 95 calories and zero grams of sugar. It is scheduled for release on 11 March and is currently only available in the United States. It comes in packs of four individual cans with a recommended retail price of less than €10. According to the brand’s presentation, this drink is intended to be enjoyed with friends, to have a good time and relax. Will we soon see Sunny vodka being ordered in bars in Spain?
