If we tell you that you can listen live to artists like Anastacia, Boney M & Maizie Williams, Antonio Orozco or Taburete, in the magical setting of a castle in Menorca overlooking the sea, surely you think it’s a great plan. But if we add a gastronomic proposal of haute cuisine with a chef of the stature of Paco Perez, things get even more interesting. We are talking about Lazareto Music & Gastro Festival 2023, which will take place from July 27 to August 8 at the Castle of San Felipe de Menorca (which dates from 1400 and is considered of Cultural Interest) and is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated plans for this summer.
We tell you about the tasting menu prepared by Paco Perez, plus all the street food options that you can enjoy at the festival and, of course, the great line-up of this second edition.
This is Paco Perez’s tasting menu for the Festival
For this awaited second edition of the Festival, the organization has counted on a luxury chef. Paco Pérez, who has four stars, has prepared a first class proposal through a tasting menu consisting of 7 dishes (3 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts). The menu will be served at the Festival restaurant before each concert and will be priced at 75 €. The lucky diners will be able to enjoy delicacies such as a Cream of almonds and black garlic, the Olive and anchovy tartlet, Baby squid and “Olé”, Lobster and its Bolognese with soufflé potatoes, Sea bass on its seabed and two desserts: the Tocinillo de Mar and the Iced Sponge of red fruits and chocolate.
In the words of the chef, it is a simple menu, since it is served to many people and in a very short space of time, they have tried to be pragmatic and prioritize the quality of the product of the area, such as olives. In this way, Lazareto will become a unique occasion for Menorca to enjoy haute cuisine such as that of Paco Pérez (last year, the Festival counted with the proposal of Diego Guerrero).
In addition to the chef’s exclusive proposal, the Festival will feature a large street food area distributed in four areas (two on the cliff overlooking the sea and two in the garden area). Here attendees will be able to enjoy more than 20 food stalls, with a menu led by Menorcan chef Victor Bayo, including gyozas, sushi, burgers, rice, pizzas, hotdogs, cold meats, cheeses, vegan options and sweets.

Thus, attendees can enjoy 13 artists as diverse and iconic as Anastacia, Boney M & Maizie Williams, Village People, The Christians, Gipsy Kings, Antonio Orozco, Sara Baras, Chambao, Tony Hadley, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Rigoletto and Taburete.
