Now you will have the opportunity to sit at the table of the most ‘mean’ cast of the audiovisual scene. The drama now transcends the screen to be served in real life through two pop up restaurants that will open their doors in January in both Los Angeles and New York.
The Mean Girls Experience will give its fandom a chance to don Regina George-approved looks and step inside North Shore High School for a day. Starting January 12 in L.A., and from January 19 in New York, it will serve ‘fast casual’ cafeteria-style food inspired by the film.
From the tables to the chairs, trays and elements of the two thousand, they will form the backdrop to this replica of the original set where the iconic winter talent show is held in the film. Also co-existing in the same space will be a ‘Cool Mom Bar’ with a happy hour from 16.00 to 18.00, along with a Mean Girls museum, with iconic costumes and merchandise from the experience.
Chef Becky Brown of Master Chef has been tasked with designing the menu for the Bucket Listers experiential venues, which will include a variety of dishes from Burn Book Burger Sliders to Stab Caesar Salad and 1 3 5 Acai Bowl.
To cap off the culinary storyline, desserts will also be inspired by some of the most iconic lines from Mean Girls. The Brownie Kälteen, the Rainbow + Smiles Cake, the Is Butter a Carb? Cookies and, of course, the Fetch Strudel.
Tickets include a reserved seat, a choice of one dish and a time slot to eat, plus a gram of candy. The price is $45 per person.
